"We came in with a large party. We were able to go straight upstairs and had phenomenal service from "Nay". She got all of our orders correct, the food came out quickly and was very tasty (shout out to the kitchen). Nay was upbeat, friendly, never got flustered or frazzled. She really made our experience over the top. The theme of the restaurant was cool, well kept and clean. My husband and I will be back again on our own, soon. Personally, we got the spinach dip, Ahi Tuna salad and the moo burger. All was phenomenal."

"Holy yum! Huge portions and fresh ingredients! I highly recommend this local restaurant for drinks, food, atmosphere and great service. I loved their homemade chips- they paired well with my Boulevard Tank 7 (iykyk). We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio and received attentive, friendly and helpful service. Way to go Tropicana Bar & Grill, you've made a great name for yourselves!"

"new to the area so we were looking for a burger spot and SO GLAD we found this one! the food was absolutely phenomenal, I still think about these fried pickles and it's been like 2 weeks! the mushroom balsamic burger I added carmelized onions to which I definitely recommend! our server was great and the vibes were nice. only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table and they were pretty busy! Go here!"

"Tropicana has a great atmosphere and a cool two-story layout that adds to the vibe. That said, the music can be a bit loud for my taste. My wife absolutely loves the food here--it's her favorite restaurant--but I'm not as big a fan. It's okay overall, but much of the menu is fried, and items like the fries, chips, fried fish, and Philly cheesesteak egg rolls often taste like they were cooked in old oil. It's a nice spot, just not my personal favorite. Your mileage may vary!"

"Update - My friends and I came here again. Fast, friendly and efficient service! The food was delicious. The boozy shakes are pretty good as well. Try the moo burger! On point. Today, I tried this place for the first time. I had your mom. Haha!!! The funniest thing was when the waitress asked, "What would you like?" And I replied, "Your mom!" Epic."

"I've eaten here many times and always had a burger - I always felt it was average, definitely not worth writing a review over. However, last time I got their special, chicken ceasar tacos and they were so good. Tonight i decided to branch out again and try the ahi tuna sandwich. Again, SO good. I felt it necessary to add this review to say that you should go with your gut and not "just a burger" if you're feeling it. Also the onion rings are delicious."

"Now this is for sure the best restaurant I've ever eaten at in Joplin, MO. Just incredible food and Tim our server was just as good. We had the Philly Egg rolls which were absolutely fire and we wanted to order a couple more of those for the entire meal but the menu was too persuasive. We also had the fish tacos and snake burger which were both very good. Looking forward to come back next week and try some more."
